Hand Crochet Dog Sweater?
I am making cute hand crochet dog sweaters. What is best way to sell ?
If you want to really sell, make sure you have a variety of colors and sizes - so people get to take their picks. If you do not have the size a person wants, no sale for you. I hate looking through dog sweaters for my two Chihuahaus and not finding the right size - both of them wear different sizes, Melody wears a Small and Tabitha wears an XSmall-XXSmall - but some people like to have their larger dogs wear sweaters/throws in the winter for extra warmth.
Try ebay.com, even with your own ebay store - but this requires posting fees. Craiglist would be a nice one - I see people posting pet supplies and pet accessories on that site all the time, but beware of "flaggers". Also, why not try at your local flea market? I'd recommend an outdoor booth/table, as most markets do not allow pets indoors, so costumers will sometimes have their dogs with them for outside browsing.
Sarahpnz - Small breeds, such as Chihuahuas, are very sensitive to the cold, which is why it is usually necessary to dress them - although, it does make them look adorable, but it's also beneficial for the dog's well being. Need I mention anything about hairless breeds, such as Chinese Cresteds and Peruvian Inca Orchid? If you have any hearless breed or small breed with a short coat, sweaters and other means of clothing for warmth are very necessary.
