I'm hoping to locate a concert I saw years ago, in the early or mid 80's, that aired on (I think) PBS. The concert was, most likely Jazz or Blues, but it could've been Broadway related, and it featured a SINGER, an OLDER BLACK WOMAN, wearing a WHITE DRESS and SINGING while sitting on a TRAPEZE/SWING, hoisted about fifteen feet in the air.

Her dress had a massive 'train' which fell to the stage below, where about six men, dressed in (I think) tuxedo's were swaying, back and forth, to whatever she was singing (I know this all sounds insane, it isnt - it's real).

If I could get the name of the show or the artist, or at least a clip of the performance, I'd be more than appreciative. Anyone remember in 1980's PBS programming well??? Help me out!
